Air India does not offer any inflight wifi service to passengers on any of its flights. But Air India is planning to include wifi services on long-haul flights. Air India offers inflight entertainment systems where you can enjoy both local and international movies, music, and tv shows.
According to previous Indian DGCA law, no aircraft including air India was allowed to provide inflight wifi service. Any aircraft equipped with wifi service was instructed to switch off its wifi service while entering or crossing into Indian Air Space. So if you are flying with Air India, you will not be able to enjoy any inflight wifi service. But the good news is, that Air India is planning to equip their Boeing 777 aircraft with WiFi facilities that fly to international destinations.
As none of the aircraft of Air India has any inflight wifi service, you can not connect to the internet while flying with Air India.
